Muslims Praying

This is Mecca where Muslims go to pray to their god but not only pray but to show that they are faith full to their god and only their god. Prayers can be done together at the mosque or alone. Before a prayer can be said, though, Muslims go through a ritual cleansing. This is to ensure they are both physically and spiritually pure before going before Alla.(Muslimsvoice) All prayers must be said in Aribic no matter what the person's native tongue. The prayer is begun by saying "Allah Akbar" or "god is most great." Then Muslims recite the first 7 verses of chapter 1of the Qur'an. Prayers in Islam is ritualized, with some critics saying that the ritual takes away from the spiritual. (Muslimsvoice).
